carve wooden spoons, make baskets and enjoy Turkish music at our
cultural center set in a small village in the mountains behind Bodrum.
When you visit the center at Gokpinar, an old yörük village on the
Aegean Coast of Turkey, you'll feel a world away from the tourist trail. It
is set on a hilltop overlooking the village and the mountains' pine forests.
A traditional Turkish village home built from local stone and timbers with
wide decks and a tiled terrace it is the perfect place to get away from it
all while at the same time really experiencing Turkish life. We are only 10
minutes' drive to the beach and 40 minutes from Bodrum.
You can come for a day, a week or longer.
Courses run all year round for individuals and small groups. We will
confirm your reservation as soon as you inform us the dates you wish to
arrive at our center.
We can even tailor a course for you and your particular interests!
